What country can I get quality inexpensive dental work done in? |
Most of my teeth need to be crowned because of bruxism and this could cost me $20,000 in the US. I was recently in Indonesia when my wisdom teeth were acting up and I got them removed for $9 USD and this made me wonder: what country can I get quality dental work for cheap? Please share any information you have. I can't afford $5000 let alone $20,000. (BTW: Indonesia is a good place to have teeth pulled and drilled but not crowned) |

Cuba is one place where they have amazing dentists and doctors...and dental care is excellent. All you have to do is look at the Cubans' teeth :-)
Anyway, there are many that will go visit Cuba and do dental work while there on vacation...root canals have been done and there haven't been any complaints.

Hungary is a good place to go for dental work. Some companies I hear even offer tours while you're there. |

MEXICO... many of the border towns have excellent dentists with store front offices lining the streets. You can get a root canal and a cap for $350 COMPLETE and dentures for $1500 or so.
I have had 3 root canals and caps done in both the U.S. and Mexico... that the one done in Mexico is the best one, has lasted the longest and HURT the LEAST being done.
You DO need to get personal recommendations from people who have used particular dentists, though... not ALL of them are really good. |

I'm not sure I would trust Mexico - they killed a dog and took its skin to cover my sister's feet when she burnt them badly - but Belize has great dentists for cheap. You pay less there at full price than you would here with insurance coverage! |

Hi I have had friend's that have gone to Bangkok Thailand and saved a lot of money and had a good holiday as well so suggest you Goggle Dentist Thailand and see what comes up. |
