I visit Jamaica everyday all day except when I'm on vacation abroad LOL. Its a beautiful island with gorgeous scenery loads of native animals and plants and the people are amazing. |

I love it when I visited two years ago. Can't wait to go back! I felt very safe and the scenery was just gorgeous. If I can afford it, I plan to move there when I retire. |

Loved Jamaica. Met some great people, toured the island and are hoping to return soon.
I didn't find feel unsafe once while we were there. We of course took safety precautions, but no more than we would if we were visiting California, or Mexico. |

MY FAVORITE PLACE TO VISIT!!!! I HAVE BEEN TO OCHO RIOS AND MONTEGO BAY (MOBAY) HOME OF THE DUTTY WINE!!! I LIVED IN QUEENS,NY AND MET ALOT OF JAMAICANS AND I LOVE JAMAICAN CULTURE, INCLUDING PATOIS, JERK CHICKEN, CURRY, CALALLOO, RASTAS, AND THAT WHOLE ISLAND LIFE! LONG LIVE JAMAICA! IT MADE ME SO HAPPY TO FET TO KNOW SOME OF THE PEOPLE THERE! I met local pickney, nyam on de good food, n jam to de reggae. Is all good in jamrock. btw i lived in jamaica for a year so i guess i am somewhat jamaican? Got visa/citizenship to Seaford Town.

My husband and I love Jamaica, we have been a few times and just booked a trip to Runaway Bay for August. We left the resort a few times ; it is a little scary looking but all the people we met were very nice. |

Its a case of the good, the bad and the very ugly. Lots of ganja, offered to you everywhere, don't take it. People invented the word hassle. Keep your wallet save, real save. If you are not an experienced traveler, don't venture to much outside your resort. Fantastic landscapes, a lot of poverty, corruption. If you are single, there are plenty of people of all ages, male and female, to offer you company. Try not to get into trouble. Usually the tourist areas are kept in good shape. Depends, what you want, it could be a great experience. |

Loved Ocho rios and the waterfall. Liked the plantation. Went there on a cruise and was told to stay on the beaten path. I can see why because they were swinging machete's and big swords. Love the music. Had a great time while I was there. |

The tourist part is okay,
but if you get off the
main drag it's trashy.
I was very surprised.
The people only want
your money and don't
like outsiders much.
I wouldn't go back.
The help in the hotels
make you feel like a
million bucks, but then
they get paid to do that.
It is a very beautiful island. |
