If you are a United States Citizen, you will need only the identification you need to board your transportation, that is, probably a photo ID. It's the same legally as traveling from California to Kansas. :-)

If you are not a US Citizen, you will need to carry whatever identification you need to travel within the US. What that is will depend on what country you come from.

This is a domestic flight.

There is a Department of Agriculture check upon return - you will be limited as to live plants, fruits, vegetables on return.

Just being a citizen of the United States you will not have to have any other documents. The airport now is asking for a valid ID such as a driver's licence or one with a photo of you and your name and address of permanent residence. That is all you will have to have. You do not need passport or green card.

PR is consider part of USA, if you are citizen or you are authorized to be in the USA you will only need a valid photo ID to come to PR

I flew from Denver to Puerto Rico last January to depart on a cruise ship from there. I went online at: columbinetravel.net and bought our tickets for flight and cruise. Need a passport for sure, what else were you asking? Good prices at columbinetavel.net Luck to you: Travelchik

Travelchick needed a passport for her trip since she was going in a cruise and then was going to visit other countries out of USA: Aruba?.

But from Denver to San Juan PR a valid photo ID would have been enough for Us citizens. When Homeland Security changes the rules for domestic flights, then you may need the passport.
