Yeah I also live here. Everyone forgot to mention Dominos and Brugal. It isn't the xpats that get drunk all the time it's the Dominicans.
Sure Dominicans are great dancers, you won't believe your eyes watching these women dance!
Farming is a fairly big part of the economy. Imported foods are 3 times as expensive as in the states.
Another thing we do is hustle the tourists! We will try to sell you the things that you absolutely don't need.
Wait till you see us drive. Now that will be an experience!

Dominican like to party alot. hang out at local "colmadones" car wash with friends and drink, gossip, play dominoes, baseball, gamble (casino, lotteries, sports, etc) dance bachata, pericao ripiao, merengue. make fun of each other. they love a cool presidente beer and drink Brugal Rum. Also Sex the city is full of motels everywhere!! |
