Depends on age, socio-economic class, and or the industry they work in....
If they're young, a school uniform and when they get home the latest clothing style from America.. (Imported from Brazil for a fraction of the price.)
If they are government persons. Suit and Tie.
Public Service persons, wear uniform.
Persons serving the upper part of the economy, suit and tie. Or nice dress pants and button down shirt...

Whatever you would wear in the states in the summertime. In addition to that, you would need a light sweater for nighttime as it gets cooler near the ocean. As for the prices, it's hard to say since it depends on whether the clothes are from abroad or locally made. Jamaicans love stylish clothes, lots of linen, jeans, beautiful colors and anything skimpy and sexy looking. |
