Boy oh boy what a question. I have a mouthful. I am unsurprised.

Quite frankly this is not a new thing she has been carrying on like this for quite some time. She has long been a "bull buck and duppy conquerer".

That don't draw my tongue thing was years ago. And let us not forget the other day with the drama over the excessive spending on trips when she said she doesn't have to use money from government to go on trips because she have man. What kind of statement is that from a prime minister. That is dibby dibby business. Ghetto gyal talking.

Let us not forget the dreaded budget speech either. Or this crap about MAMA is here. You can trust mama. Come on. She certainly isnt campaigning to me or anybody who can read for that matter. That is why she hasnt been talking about the issues.

Whats worst how can she go around telling poor people to vote for her because GOD says so.

How can she go to national debates last week and not know where the funding for the health program was coming from. When a key point of their campaigning so far has been that the JLP doesn't know how they are going to fund their free education?

I have no problem with someone from humble beginnings being a prime minister. Nor do i have a problem with a woman being prime minister. However we must be well represented. Our prime minister must be able to hold her own in the face of international scrutiny. She must speak well and articulate her points well. She must be comfortable speaking to people more educated than her. She must be able to hold her tongue in the face of adversity. She should not add fuel to the fire about the stereotypical woman. She should be bigger than that.

It is a fact that these are necessary traits for a prime minister. She could be good intentioned so till. She could have a good track record so till. That is the reality.

I really hope that we as a country and as a nation will stop being embarrassed by our leadership in the very near future.

frankly am very embrass of her behavouir i cant beleive a big woman like dat acting that way and to say she is the prime minister she cant let her personal life affect her work affect her she should know the world have their eyes on her not only the world but the fellow jamaicans and kids wat shud they think??

I do not think she has changed in any way, it is just that you have not met the real portia. About two months ago I heard my aunt saying to someone that she is always afraid that ' Portia gwine lif up har frock and cuss dem labourite bwoy dem one a dem days'.
I just think that the language that she uses on the platform has to do with her background. We are shaped by where we have come from and it takes time and effort to remove some of it. I think that she has tried and is a more polished person now.

Karlene B!!!!! You sound educated, so I expect you to listen to what you are hearing, as well as to hear what you are listening to. Did you not hear the PM say she was assured by both the Minister of Finance and by the Health minister that they would "FIND" the money to fund free health care? Obviously, to their knowledge, someone lost a few billion dollars and they are going to be the ones to find it. If you want to better yourself I suggest you start looking for a bulky scandal bag lying around the way. Maybe that is where the money was lost.
