Aruba is a wonderful island. My husband and I have been traveling there for the last 11 years. This September we will be making our 13th visit to our "home away from home", followed in December by another visit via cruise ship.
Read anyone of my answers to Aruba questions here on Yahoo! Answers and you will see that I cannot recommend Aruba highly enough: perfect weather, beautiful beaches, powder white sand, friendly people, accommodations and restaurants in every price range. Aruba offers everything that my husband and I look for in a relaxing vacation. I love it so much, I have dedicated an entire website to it http://www.arubabound.com/

Aruba is awesome. The people are friendly and I love it because I use Spanish to speak with the people I meet in Aruba and we all have a great time. I'd definately go back but wished that the H.S. Spring Breaker's killer wouldn't have gotten off Scot Free. It sends out the wrong message to Foreigners of Aruba. |

going again in nov.......good times there all the time, you just can't get the proper perspective of the island just by coming by cruise ship, locals there are the greatest, they know how to smile, something we americans should take note of... if i hear 1 more thing about the crime there i'll loose my lunch |

I was there on a cruise and enjoyed it. The beaches are nice. However, there does not seem to be much else to do. We drove around the entire island in a few hours with a couple of stops along the way. Since we are from Phoenix the desert inland was not highly impressive. I think I would be bored if I spent much time on Aruba. |

I always wanted to visit Aruba but never really got a chance to. After the scandal that took place there about the missing girl, I lost all desire to visit due to safety. I by no means intend to offend you or anyone else with this comment.
On another note, some of my friends have been there and they love it. |
