A guinness/hieneken is about US$1.50 retail. In a local bar it will be about $2.00. In a tourist resort or top resturant or nightclub, you'll pay $3.00.
This should give you a rough estimate of markups. Rum or vodka mixed drinks start at about $3.00 (cheap white rum), but most are about $5 and up.
If you are buying more EXPENSIVE drinks such as champagne, brandy or exotic wines, expect even greater mark-ups. |

What would u like, prices varied according to your taste and your location, from hotel bars to supermarket to gas stations to bars on the corners to street side vendors, from US$1:50 upwards. from alcoholic to nonalcoholic to exotic fruit juices that will leave your taste buds dancing reggae. Why worry about the cost of drink? Cost varies depending on where you are. Beer is cheapest at a Supermarket but at a club, quality restaurant the cost is high. Do not worry about the cost of drink just come to Jamaica and feel alright.
PS. you will not have to worry about the price of anything at an all-inclusive resort. |
