I remember fudge,guava cheese, paw paw balls,bobby,
tamarind ball. There was also a long peppermint candy
with different colours on it (red, white and blue) paradise plum
was yellow and pink. Bakeries and sometimes vendors on
bicycles would sell a cake (not the kiss cakes) that had
a deep pink frosting on it. That cake use to go down
nice with a cold glass of milk and I can't forget sugar cake.

Yes Resh and Mandy T I can remember the straw sweety.

What happen to T&T snacks?? They get blasted expensive is what happen! Anyways, my snacks long time was from the lady in the shed out side the school yard. Ms. Buntin and ah used to master buy the the sweet mango and red plum. And the pholourie boy...with the little curry sweet mango! And when ah could afford it, the milky sucker bag! Was all kinda chow and thing. And when ah going home was in Ms. Thelma shop for the choo choose and burbon biscuit. Friday night ah chilling out infront the TV with a bag ah rough tops and ah red solo!

Corn curls in the red pack and Cheese Balls in the blue pack! I remember how before you opened up the pack you had to check for how many 'tablets' were in the top! Tunocks Caramel Wafers...remember the commerial with the aliens? And Kiss Cupcakes...have never found better ones than Kiss, even now.

The best school trip we ever took hands down was to Charles' chocolate factory and KC candy factory. Must have been around standard three or so. Can't remember much about the trip except that they sent us home with huge bags of snacks after!

I remember getting so excited around Eid and Divali time too...endless kurma and barfi and goolab jamoon an ting! And nobody getting vex when you just keep eating dem too.

But hear nuh...anybody remember who used to make the chocolate bars in the white wrappers? You would open them up and find all kinda worm inside? Was it Charles or somebody else? When Swiss Milk opened I was so excited because it was sooo much better than that white wrapper one.

I remember being excited too over whatever snacks I got in my lunchkit although looking back now, the selection wasn't that big. Nowadays, the kids have what...three or four aisles of stuff at the grocery store to choose from...

hottawarrior - win lose or draw
you does still get the corn curls and cheese balls eh, but it just dont taste the same. and i did reallll love d planters chilli balls but you dont find it anywhere.
