It is an area in the Atlantic.. many ships and aircrafts that have passed over it have disappeared...
there hav been several explanations, the most convincing of them being the emission of methane hydrates that reduce the water density. but even that is questioned.
some researchers hav also proved that many of the accidents reported to hav occurred in these areas hav actually been misinformed or exaggerated...
there is no one convincing explanation but i guess theres no magic or anything there.. it will just take some time before the correct reason is found..... |

Hi,
Good Question!!!
The Bermuda triangle is an imaginary area over the Atlantic ocean, which still remains a mystery for most of the geologists and scientists. There have been instances of aeroplanes, ships, etc. disappearing over this area. The exact location of this triangle still remains an unsolved mystery. Some theories state that the power of gravitation is more in this area and hence any object, be it sailing or flying, is absorbed by this high gravitational pull. It could be like the black holes in space. Some books also suggest that the disappearances are due to an intelligent, technologically advanced race living in space or under the sea. But the actual truth is yet to be unearthed! |

The Bermuda Triangle, also known as the Devil's Triangle, is an area in the Atlantic Ocean where the disappearance of many people and their aircraft and surface vessels has been attributed by some to the paranormal, a suspension of the laws of physics, or activity by extraterrestrial beings. Some of the disappearances involve a level of mystery which is often popularly explained by a variety of theories beyond human error or acts of nature. An abundance of documentation for most incidents suggests that the Bermuda Triangle is a sailors' legend, later embellished by professional writers |
