This should help inspire you. http://recipes.caribseek.com/caribbean-recipes.shtml
I love jerk chicken, which as everyone knows is Jamaican. I also have a great liking for chicken, rice and peas. One favourite Caribbean snack is guava paste, which I have to avoid because it is so full of calories. I also have a great yen for Grace beans with sausage, which we lived on after Hurricane Ivan, but which I haven't been able to find anywhere since leaving Cayman. I also love Jamaican ginger beer. However, perhaps my favourite is Jamaica patties. |
