Cigars (of course), Casinos (they used to have the best and most popular gambling facilities in the world), an oppressive government (which is why many Cubans try to flee to the US), Desi Arnaz (a.k.a. Ricky Ricardo), a slew of baseball players (such as Alex Sanchez, Jose Canseco, Minnie Minoso, Jose Tartabull, etc.), Elian Gonzales (little boy who was brought here by his mother and forced to go back to Cuba to be with his father back in 2000).
