beutiful, beutiful place. as long as you stay in the touristy areas. the cops are VERY VERY corrupt and drugs are rampent there now. gangs as well. I was just telling my friend that i;t's turining into a little mexico now.

of course everywhere has its problems, it's very nice warm and tropical down there the beaches are to die for. we used to go to the beach on friday and saturday night to watch my uncle play his bongos in a band. you can't go anywhere else and see a better beach. real estate is cheap there as well, my parents bought a house for 13-15 grand I think. of course, it's not in the touristy area, and it was my fatheres home growing up. all the other relatives think it is there house because they lived in it growing up as well. PR mentality, i told my dad to chck it up to a loss cuz he will never see it.

the people are nice for the most part, but most don't speak english. the schools are starting to teach it i think...??

overall, i love PR and have been there many many times, but the changes I see year to year is astounding. someone needs to take control over there and get the gansters and the bad cops off the streets !!!! SCARY!!!

You will live life to the fullest. Very hospitable people and you can feel home comfort.

It's really hot to begin with and it rains a lot. The beaches and the city life rock. the only disadvantage I see is the cost of living and salaries aren't as high as the United States.
