What is the best All-Inclusive hotel in Jamaica?

I am a NUBIE and I'm looking to go in May 2009. I want to go somewhere where the alcohol is plenty, the entertainment is top notch and the resort offers you the most to do. Let me know your experience.

I have always enjoyed the Hedonism resorts- either in Negril (Hedonism II) or in Runaway Bay (Hedonism III). They both are all-inclusive, fun, party places, with a wide variety of people. Not to mention the nude/clothing optional side, theme nights, and overall energy. You definitely will have a good time there if you are open-minded, nonjudgmental, fun-loving, and like to meet people. The rooms and food are ok; there are definitely more luxurious resorts in Jamaica, but I haven't found any others that provide that real party vibe with a lot to do on-property.

Some good websites to check out are: dennyp.com, 4hedonism.com, hedonism.com, hedomojo.com. Groups are always organizing to go to the Hedonism resorts, so you can even meet folks before you arrive. There is also a good book on the subject called "The Naked Truth About Hedonism," which is available online, I believe.

Hedonism III. Best hotel staff, best hotel guests. Can't tell you too much you have to go and find out for yourself.

The Riu Hotels and Resorts are all good. Also the Half Moon, there are plenty in Jamaica that are great. If you need some more info check out www.sixxpaktravel.com

I love Hedo 3! It has some of the best entertainment as well as unlimited great beverages from bar tenders who know what they are doing....

Not only do they have enless entertainment and a hopping disco, you also have plenty to do throughout the day.

As stated Royal Decamaron is the hot spot for singles, couples to enjoy the all-inclusive in Jamaica.
For families I suggest Starfish Trelawny.

I too loved Royal Decameron. It's been getting popular and selling out. Read the reviews on trip advisor Starfish has been getting bad reviews. Plus RD is 1 minute from the airport so no long bus ride to your resort. We go in September cause its so cheap last year we spent 1300 for 2 and that included airfare. Out of Canada. This year cost us 1400 the pork pitt is just up the road with great jerk chicken

It really depends on your budget and what kind of time you want to spend there (party lots, rest and relax on the beach, go out and see the sights of Jamaica...).
We like the party atmosphere and nonstop action, so we're with Monica...Hedo III is a blast and the ECs (entertaiment coordinators) are second to none. It's a Super-inclusive so all the food and drink you can handle and it's great just to lay around in the sun, naked, drinking dirty bananas all day. The grounds are very clean and the staff are ALL top notch. I've seen quite a few resorts in Jamaica but Hedo III is the only one I've REALLY enjoyed.

depends on your budget.

been to rose hall resort, starfish trelawny, holiday inn rose hall, hedonism in negril, breezes in montego bay to name a few.

would recommend all except holiday inn!

(i've not stopped at some just visited with work!)

found that value for money would be starfish trelawny (but needs modernization badly!) but my husband used to work for royal decam and is nice too.

I was at Starfish Trelawny a couple weeks ago it was awesome. The people are soooooo friendly, the fellas maybe a little too friendly but that's part of the Jamaican experience I guess.
