I would say Flamenco beach on Culebra island. It was voted one of the world's 10 best beaches. Its the type of beach with pure white sand and crystal clear water. There is also a beautiful reef and great snorkelling here.

If your a surfer, the best beaches would be in Rincon on the west coast. Rincon also has the most amazing sunsets. However, all the beaches in PR are nice and you will enjoy any one :)

When I went to Puerto Rico for my firstt time a couple months ago, I stayed at El Conquistador Resort. The resort was absolutely breath taking and had everything you could ever want from a resort. They had a catamaran that would take you from the resort to Palomino Island... just a short 8 minutes. Palomino was amazing. I had the time of my life and look forward for countless vacations back to Fajardo, PR. |

If you are looking for some cool stuff to do, you should try calling Venture Out Puerto Rico. They are friendly locals and they'll have some great suggestions for you. One of them is a surfer, so if anyone knows of beautiful hidden beaches, he's the man.
They also offer tours like horseback riding in the beach, kayaking the bio bay, ATVs, Snuba, Catamarans, Culebra trips, Vieques trips, Rappelling, Zip Lining, and much more. They even offer transportation to and from the hotels in certain areas.

Flamingo or Flamenco, in Culebra. People say it is the best beach. Mar chiquita (Manati) is nice too. Playa Sucia en Cabo Rojo is nice and you can stay at Parador Bahia Salinas. Isla de Gilligan en Guanica is also an option. |
