Its Very Hot In Jamaica
You have to be 18 or older to drink but its not strictly enforced and I have always believed this to be why we don't have serious drunk driving, alcoholism problems etc with our young people. I'm not condoning underage drinking but it isn't such a big thing here- we love our booze but don't go overboard.

In Jamaica you can drink at any age because it's like a tradition especially christmas, independence day and those other holidays. if you go to a store and want to but any alcohol beverges you dont have to have an identification card and in most hotels in Jamaica you can buy alcohol beverges they just dont let you gamble under the age of 18. i live in Jamaica until i was 12 and im now turning 15 so i dont think they change the law and i use to drink all the time but not til the point i get drunk.

If you are not in a touristy place there is no drinking age. If you are expect to be asked for id if you are under 20. The legal age is 18.

It is 18. I dont think its really enforced, As mostly adults drink. When young people do drink they do not drink to get wasted as I see here in America.

I have added a link to drink age of various countries.

The legal age is 18...but i have seen 6 year olds buying alcohol...only places like hotels and clubs adhere to the law of drinking...it all depends on where u are at the time ur drinking, but the legal age is 18.
