Additional Details im goin 2 a sandals resort in Jamaica with my boyfriend to get married in a few days. im 20 and was wondering the legal drinking age there and if it will be different since i will be in a sandals resort (american owned)

LOL..don't worry..you can drink! I think they have the little kegs and the beer taps at the resort if you want to get on really bad!
But Jamaica is not about ABUSING alcohol! Alcohol is not drinked to get drunk..just to feel nice. You will never go to a party in Jamaica and see some drunk wild person who is so intoxicated they can't think straight! If they get to that point usually they go home..it's not "cute" over here..more like embarrassing and take your *ss home!
In the resorts, I am sure the attitude for drinking crazily is acceptable tho!

The legal drinking age in Jamaica is 18, even if some break the law which goes unpunished, the age set b y the laws of Jamaica is 18. no matter what establishment.

You should go to Royal Caribbean instead. No legal drinking age for you. No one will ask to see your birth certificate.

On Jamaican land (and not in a US establishment) the legal drinking age is 18. If you are in a US establishment, it's 21.
