There isn't a legal age to get a tattoo in Jamaica. However some establishments will only allow persons 18 or older. If you look about that age you can scrape by. Just make sure you see the tattoo artist open a brand new needle. |

Technically speaking,there are no restrictions,on what age its legal to take a tattoo in Jamaica,it all depends on ones up bringing or environment.
And off course one morals and health consciousness of the body.
It also has to do with how willing a professional tattoo personnel will be willing to add that to a child,(Under 10 or 15 Yr old child).some places may have an age requirement of 18 Yr old,and over.
However I've never seen a child with one or any young adult say between 10_ 17 wearing a tattoo.
But it is possible,due to how society has change and has become more relax. |

I thought people were free to do whatever the hell they wanted in the islands. Its probaly following British rule. I thought a witch doctor did everything. Maybe you get them in someones Kitchen...Serioulsy even though they are very sufficticated many practice old traditions because of everything being so high. I would find the locals, if you are not from there and they will get you what you need if it has to be on the black market... |
