Orette Bruce Golding more commonly known as "Bruce Golding" was sworn in as the 8th Prime Minister of Jamaica on September 11, 2007 after the recent General Elections held on September 3, 2007.

His party, the JLP won the elections, beating the PNP by 33-27 seats [although we still having recounts].
