What is the national currency of the dominican republic?

Show all answers

davidalden98
the dominican peso is the "official" currency, but they accept ANY kind of money and the trade houses there will trade any kind of money, most common is US dollars and the Euro, while I was living there, a guy washed my car (without my permission) and wanted me to pay him, I had just bought a hot dog on the corner of the street, gave him half of it and he was pretty satisfied....they'll basically accept anything you give them :) GREAT PEOPLE!!

Wham Fan
The national currency is the Dominican Peso, but I'm sure SOME places will accept euros or dollars.
