Every Dominican Speaks Spanish since it is the National Language

In Punta Cana they speak a lot of English because it is a tourist area!

Very few if any speak French because it is a minimum tourist percent!

The primary languages in the Dominican Rep. is spanish.
In the "golden jail area" (Punta Cana) they speak also some english (hotel employees).

The official language of the dom.rep is Spanish, it is spoken everywhere, but since punta cana is a major tourist spot you could also encounter many other languages. Mostly english, italian and fench.
