Generally speaking, the weather is warm there all year. October is towards the end of the traditional hurricane season, though, but no one can tell you now whether there will be one or not. |

October is a good time. It's not too hot and the hoards of tourists haven't arrived yet. When it rains, it's usually for an hour at most that comes in buckets and then it's clear skies again
If you book all inclusive, you miss out on the country as far as I'm concerned. For $35- $40 a night, you can get a nice hotel and check out all of the restaurants in town. The buffet meals in the all inclusives are pretty minimal.
ATMs are everywhere BTW. Just bring an extra ATM card with you and keep it separate of course.
Where are you going? |

I went there around this time and we had a good time it rained mainly at night and not that often really there were some very big and loud thunder storms that woke you up.
Have a great time |

In the Dominican Republic the weather is always ok. In October you can have some rain in the late afternoon, but nothing to spoil your day. The best region to go is Puerto Plata, there you will have no problems with hurricanes (if any).
So dear guest, enjoy it! |
