What is the weather like in Punta Cana in January?
Additional Details We are planning a trip to the Carribean in mid january and would like to ensure that the weather will be warm enough to lie out on the beach
Weather will be in the 80's every day. Expect cooler evenings a light sweater will do the trick. You should be able to enjoy the sun and return home with a nice tan.

Of course it's warm enough for the beach. The weather is tropical. 80 - 85 F. every day.

Went last January the weather is very nice at that time of the year. We were on the beach everyday. We had a quick storm in the mornings that only last at the most 5 minutes or so. Enjoy yourself can not wait to go back this April.
