That's a trick question.

Some would say hurricane season for obvious reasons and because it's so hot. HOWEVER, that's also the time of year when the Caribbean is on SALE. So if you're looking to save money, that's your time to go.

Others would say during the winter months (December-mid April) because it's warm there and cold here. Be prepared to spend 30-100% MORE for your vacation.

My advice is to go during the "lulls" if hurricane season is out for you. Some, but not all, destinations have sales going on between the holidays. Here are some examples:

A week after Thanksgiving-a few days before Christmas (generally December 15th or 17th).

After New Years, but before MLK

After MLK but before Feb 9th or 10th (any closer and you're getting to President's weekend)

A week after Easter, but before Memorial Day

Good luck!

Definatly the summer. It is boiling, and you get a horrible sunburn. So take my advice and go in the winter, or fall.

I'm from the French West Indies and I can say that if you really want to come and sunbath most of the time, don't come from Aug to October, because we got lot of rain then and hurricanes sometimes.
Anyway, it's more likely to have numerous showers then!

Calandra has been hurt again :(
Worst months are August - mid october. This is around the hurricane season and u dont wanna be there then. Best time, if your interested is dec-march.

I lived in Puerto Rico for several years, and you get hurricane season from June-October. You can get hit with bad ones anytime in there, but I've seen some rough storms in September-ish.
