Okay I'm going on vacation to Atlantis Bahamas on July 24th to July 28th. I have done my research and there is a lot to do. There are rides that they can go on and have so much fun. You get wet every minute. They have a rapids ride where each person gets to sit in a tube. Its called the lazy river ride. What you do is site in a tube and go down miles of water, seeing atlantis. sometimes the water will pick up and it was get a little wavy but its so much fun. Another great thing is just sitting at the beach. It would be fun to take a boat tour around atlantis with the whole family. A tip, eat OUTSIDE of atlantis. go into the other areas. Atlantis costs $8 for a water bottle! I heard a good restraint is Anthonys. Your kids can also join the Kids Club (dont worry I checked and they are in the age limit). There they will keep them busy for hours! Your kids can also go to this place at night and be able to play games, movies, eat, music games, ect. There is a lot more but its late to type. So I will give you the site.

There are a lot of things. They have tons of tourist shops with hand crafted items. Be careful though because some stuff they sell in Florida that are overpriced if you buy them in the Bahamas. Also, there is one of the biggest aquariums there. It's free to get in (I'm almost positive) but to see the sharks and go through this tour, it costs a little bit of money. You take a taxi to get there and if I remember right, it has a huge golden statue of a fish in the front? (If I'm inaccurate, sorry..I went there a very long time ago on a cruise). I'm sure there are some restaraunts with authentic food and many other things to see as well as a nice trip to the beach if only to sunbathe or take a swim.

Have fun!! :)

Atlantis resort has a great waterslide. and you can swim thru a shark tank, and see LOTS of sharks up close....they have underground aquarium, and outdoor lagoons........very interesting

Which part of the Bahamas? There's 700 islands...

If it's Nassau:

-Ardastra Zoo and Conservation Center
-Pirate's of Nassau Museum
-Queen Elizabeth Staircase
-Fort Fincastle
-Surrey tour around downtown (Horse drawn carriage)
-glass bottom boat tour
-let them ride the Jitney... who know's? they might like it :)

There must be horseback riding, or a jeep tour of some kind on the islands, The beach may even be enough, many of the resorts have kid camps....they keep the kids occupied for hours!
