What is your favorite island in the Caribbean? |
I have been traveling for 23 years now and have been fortunate enough to have visited 10+ Caribbean Islands on 4 cruises and week long island trips to Aruba and St. Marteen. My favorite island is Aruba.. because of the perfect weather, it's closeness to South America and also because it's way out of the hurricane belt. Not to mention they have hot guys, great beaches and fabolous night life ;)
My second choice, right now, would be Dominica.

Dominica....for a couple reasons...first it's my home. and second it is just not what you expect, a pure natural experience with little invasion from over development...we are not a traditional "beachy Caribbean" destination...but black sand beaches are just as wonderful as white sand....we also have an abundance of fresh water that not many other islands have and so much more.
---Next to home I like St. Lucia and Barbados |

I really really enjoyed Saba. I am a diver and some of the best wall dives can be found there and the hike up the top of the island is beautiful.....really really long, but so worth it.
Also, I dont know if you count Cozumel or not but thats another of my favs....Diving is fantastic, and the night life is awesome taboot! |

St John USVI because of the pristine beaches and it's mostly National Park land. No big resorts lining the beaches. A island waiting to be explored.
