I am biased towards the Virgin Island since I lived there..but after extensive travel I do not have a favorite. Each has a little something different based on the topography and cultural influence. I love how pristine ST Thomas is you feel you left the US but not its comforts. But for a little city life, Puerto Rico offers it all, night clubs, restaurants etc. Jamaica makes you feel like you are living in a James Bond movie. And Virgin Gorda like you stepped off the planet...for just a few hours. The resorts on Domincan Republic treats every person like they are five star guest. And on Tortala you will be part of the silliness jumping up and down in the moonlights I could go on and on... about the benefits and beauties of each islands.
it really depends on the vacation you want for me to .
My ideal vacation would be to have a month on a private yacht to go from island to island. |

St. Maarten. Because the beaches are beautiful. They have beaches with clear shallow water the size of 2 football fiels, perfect for non-swimmers or babies. And they have rough waves at Orion Bay and Dawn Beach, that are fun for older kids and good swimmers. The shopping is pleasant. And I'm biased because my aunt and uncle live there. Half of the island is French and the other half is Dutch. |

Well I havent been to all of them so I guess its not really fair to choose, but I do think they all have a unique beauty. However my personal favorite is Puerto Rico. I love the gorgeous natural scenery, the busy city with historical sights & every modern convinience as well. I love the culture, the people, food, music, weather, everything..

Nevis. It was the most beautiful, most peaceful, and safest of any other island in the Caribbean & West Indies that I've been to. |
