Cuba and Barbados are beautiful islands. Cuba is by far though my favourite. The new and old history, culture, hospitality, people....just amazing. And Cuba´s beaches are the most beautiful! |

Every island in the Caribbean is nice. It's hard to narrow down what islands are the nicest. I will tell you what islands I have enjoyed the most and have the best memories. I don't want to insult anyone. So please don't take my choices personally.
US Virgin Islands
British Virgin Islands
Anguilla
Turks and Caicos
St Maarten/St Martin
Barbados
Dominican Republic
Bahamas
Mexico (all of it)
Best way to enjoy the Caribbean for the first time is by cruise ship. You get a taste of each island and you can pick the ones you want to know more about by doing a land vacation. That's how my husband and I first started going to the Caribbean.
Enjoy, it's all good) |

No one mentioned the Grand Cayman Islands. It is very beautiful and the best beaches in the world. I stayed at ( http://www.harbourheightscayman.com/ ), which was located on the world famous, Seven Mile Beach. The resort was great and the people were very nice.
Hope this helps. |

A really interesting note: Costa Rica's Eastern coast is actually in the Caribbean. South of Puerto Viejo are many towns which have the Rasta-culture, but they speak Spanish. It is relatively safe and a great blend of cultures and beauty! The ocean is like bath-water and you get to see monkeys in the trees at the same time! I suggest it. I've been there twice and both times were amazing. Ask for OMAR in the town of Manzanilla. He's my Rasta guide!
