What kind of tourists usually visit Aruba in the summer?

I am going to Aruba this summer and I wanted to know what countries do the tourists usually come from besides the US because I want to meet some interesting people and have a sort of cultural exchange in Aruba, but basically have fun. I was on a website for an Aruban resort and the website was available in English, spanish, dutch, and swedish. Are there a considerable amount of Swedes vacationing in Aruba?

when we were there 2 years ago, we met people from netherlands, britain, austria, germany, asia, canada, even russia.
we are going back in about 3 weeks, and cant wait. what resort site were you looking at? we stay at the tamarijn, which is an awesome place. our patio was about 15 feet from a boarwalk, and about another 40 feet to the water from the boardwalk. very quaint little "all inclusive" resort.
as far as the "mostly honeymooners" comment, that can be said for all of the islands in the caribbean, but that depenmds on what resort you stay at as well. there are actually a lot of families that frequent the isands in the summer as that is their family vacation.

Most are from the US, Canada and the Netherlands. You also find a lot of Venezuelans and Colombians. After these groups you will find Chinese, Filipino's and then other European and South American tourists.

Just look at the countries listed on Travel>Caribbean... ALL THOSE ISLANDS and countries are the ones that AmeriKans go to... there are many other really neat islands and countries in the Caribbean.. but the ones listed by Yahoo>Travel>Caribbean are all the ones that AmeriKans go to.

The CARIBBEAN ISLAND OF THE YEAR for 2007 was ST, Vincent and the Grenadines... and THAT is an honor given by the people who KNOW the Caribbean and know their way around the Caribbean

: )
mostly honeymooners at that time. as for nationality, all over but mostly form the US and Europe.
