There are other reasons-Freedom from the snow, Jerk Pork/Chicken, Appleton Jamaican Rum and the Estate, curiosity with regards to the Rastafarian Religion and Weed, James Bond Beach, Dunn's River Falls, Port Royal and it's History, Blue Mountain Peak, Rich Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee, Prospect Plantation in Ocho Rios, The Hot springs in St. Thomas, or any of Jamaica's popular stage shows.

It has beautiful beaches and has a really good tourism board that is willing to spend money on advertising to the outside public. They have their faults yes, but they are good at self-promotion. Dancehall music and the reggae culture attracts people also...and then some just want to experience the marijuana (which is still illegal there). |
