Ok dont overpack. Minimalism really works when you go to an all inclusive. Bathing suits at least three. Shorts and tops . Make sure they are not too heavy and can breathe. Good cotton or linen. At nights the women tend to be dressier not formal dressing but upscale dressing. Capris and dress top/

Resort wear appropriate for men and women are "country club" type clothing. Since the invitation is for dinner, then evening resort attire for men would be nice slacks, polo shirts, button down shirts, nice shoes or sandals, with the option of wearing a sport coat. For women: nice pants, skorts, skirts, nice top, casual dress, sundress, nice sandals or casual shoes. The length of the skirt or dress is knee length or longer.

Anything you can wear on the plane and carry on. Buy things when you get there and do not forget a coat and umbrella.

I went there a few years ago. you will have sooo much fun. Make sure you eat the big huge shrimps they have on their buffet. Anyway, during the day its really casual, everyone is in shorts or bathing suits. In the evenings, you will most likely go to one of the 5 resturants for dinner. So bring a nice casual dress with you. You dont have to take any evening dresses, but just a nice dress and shoes. Make sure you make reservation for the resturants as soon as you get there, cause they get booked really fast. Make sure you go to the Thai resturant, which is located in the middle of the oceon in the next door hotel. They take you to the resturant with a boat, its really nice. Oh, also take a comfortable tennis shoes with you, in case you want to go on excursion.

baby pack nothing weather to hot .dont use any perfume or body spray bugs will eat u alive. go to avon and purchase skin so soft that will keep u smelling good and bugs away. as for clothing the simply norm sandals bathingsuits,t-shirts shorts .

Dress for casual and comfort. Many resorts require a nicer outfit (including men with long pants, button up shirts, and no sandals) for one or more restaurants. But for the most part comfort is the most important. If you plan to go off the property please keep in mind that it is against Jamaican customs to wear bathing suits when not at the resort.

As far as other things, you will be ahead to buy everything at home and pack it. Resorts have gift shops that have things like sunscreen but the selection is not large and prices are high. One thing we did not bring and needed was a writing pad. We wanted to exchange email addresses with several people and had nothing to write on. We had a very difficult time finding anything at the resort or in town, as well.

Bring what you do on any other hot destination vacation, shorts, swim suits, etc, and some formal clothes for dinner.

I just got back Friday from Sandals Ocho Rios. During the day, people wore plain shorts, tank tops, t-shirts. But at night it seems that the women wore sun dresses, skirts, and nice capris with nice tanks. I would recommend taking at least 3 dresses and at least 3 pair of shorts. If you are going to be on the beach or laying out a lot, take at least 2 swimsuits. Also, make sure the clothing that you pack for the daytime activities are comfortable. If you are going to the falls make sure to take water shoes. Also, take swimsuit cover ups like a sarong or skirt as most lunchtime restaurants do not allow swim wear. Have Fun!
