Hola Panish.
It's better for you to take Canadian dollars. You will lose money when you exchange your dollar for 1€.
$1 CAD = $0.592 EUR
$1 CAD = $0.752 CUC
http://fxconverter.com/convert/classic
So just take CAD dollars to Cuba. it's widely accepted and you will have no problems.
You can also take a Canadian-based credit card if you need any cash advances. Just make sure the card is not US-based (as those are not accepted).
By the way, many think the US dollars are not accepted in Cuba. They actually are...BUT you will get charged at least a 11% fee for the exchange and will lose MUCH more.
So don't hassle yourself by exchanging Canadian to Euro...just take CAD and have a great time.
Buen viaje. |

Firstly, you can only get Cuban pesos in Cuba, so ignore anyone who talks about getting them before you arrive.
Secondly, you will want mainly convertible pesos (CUC) so ignore those who talk about the national pesos (CUP or MN).
Thirdly, the CUC is pegged to the US dollar. In general the conversion rates EUR -> CUC and CDN -> CUC follow the equivalent USD rates.
So the ACTUAL answer is to take whatever costs you least to obtain.
If you pass through Canada - get CDN; if you come from Europe, bring euros. Otherwise check the rates given by your local banks versus the OANDA rates (say) to get an idea. |

You can't spend either of those there. No place in all of Cuba will take it. As long as it isn't american you'll be fine. Make sure that you change your money at the airport for "Convertible Pesos" not the money that the locals use which is CUP...unless you look cuban then you can get away with it. CUP prices are generally cheaper but they won't take it if you look like a tourist. |

Coversions don't matter much if you're just going for a vacation.
1 Canadian dollar translates to 18.05 Cuban Pesos, and 1 Euro translates to 30.49 Cuban Pesos. I think that the Canadian coversion is easier to make. If you're actually moving there, Euros would be better. |

I went to a store in the USA and they wouldn't take canadian quarters I had some of them and wanted to spend them but I found somebody to exchange them for me maybe at the boarder they will exchange your money or try to find a person you trust who will exchange them for you because maybe the stores won't except canadian dollars |

You should bring Euros it is more then Canadian dollars when you convert it to US dollars.... |

Euros. They are worth more so you can take more! :D
;-) they are the same thing- money.
What really matters is what is more convenient |
|

Maybe???
 |
You should bring Cuban cigars!!!
Duhhh, is Cuba in Europe? Why would you want to bring euros? You can't spend them there.
You need to bring Cuban pesos.
By the way, the rate of exchange is pretty much the same in any country so it does not matter in which country you do the exchange for Cuban pesos. |
