What time of year is it best to travel to the Bahamas?

Great time to go, before hurricane season gets in full swing. We were there in August and it was to hot and humid. We were there in January and it was cold and rainy. April, May, June are good months to go.

Anytime is good to go down there; however, if you go during the winter, you do run a chance of getting into some colder weather on some days (60s, not that that is too bad).

i was there in july and in november. the weather was the same both times. in november there were a lot less people tho, so that was nice.

Sure it is . All year round is a good time. Lots of people fear the hurricane season, but hurricanes are not like weekly or monthly events plus there is usually lots of time for warnings and hotels provide shelters for many. I think there are more cultural events if you come during holidays but all year round you can enjoy the water sports and native foods etc.

June, July and August are the best months. June is part of the low season. Most people take the winter and spring to enjoy the Bahamas.
I went in August and the weather was very warm and so was the Caribbean sea. You can't really go wrong in June or July. You might get a little rain but you will have a lot of sun.
Stay away from late August to November this is the Hurricane season.

Of course, if you don't run into a hurricane, it's all good.
