When I go to Jamaica I buy rum and red label wine from duty free at the airport. Also get some icy mint (candy) from duty free. I buy lots of them just to give to people.
I usually buy spices such as curry powder, nutmeg, cinnamon sticks, and pimento at the market.
I also bring back roast breadfruit and ackee if they are in season. I like to bring back up Tastee Patties.
I also buy blue mountain coffee, I love that coffee |

I always bring back:
- A box of patties (either Tastee or Mother's)
- A bottle of Appleton
- A bottle of Sangsters rum cream
- Some Cd's/Videos |

They have a nice rum called Appleton. Spices are great, especially pimento (aka allspice), nutmeg. You can buy jerk seasoning and other jamaican spice blends. Blue Mountain coffee is popular as well, but I think most of the really good stuff goes to high-end exports. I'm not impressed with what is available to local consumers and tourists.
