What to do in St. Lucia for one day ?

I'm going on a tropical islands caribbean cruise in March and I have one day in St. Lucia, can anyone give me some advice of what to do for one day there. Good things to see and advice getting around would be nice from people who have been there or live there :)

Go on a helicopter ride around the island....it takes you between the Pitons...it's great....I recommend it.

Take a tour of the country and visit the pitons, the volcano/sulphur springs and waterfall. You can also visit the rum distillery and the banana plantation.

Snorkel, eat , and chill out! Take the helicoptor tour.

It's so beautiful, even doing nothing will make a memorable day

Not sure what they'll offer in terms of cruise trips, but I spent 10 days there last year and it was fantastic.
My favorite trip was a catamaran cruise along the coast that stopped off to swim and snorkel and then went on to the Cocao bean farm and the volcano, which was stinky, but pretty cool.
Unfortunately, you'll miss the Jump Up festivals at night, which were also very fun.
Have a blast.

We went sea kayaking across the bay to Pigeon Point and then hiked up the hill to see the old English fort. Very cool.

Iv been and the rum distillery is very good its a beautiful island,also on you cruise you will get a summary everyday in your cabin of best of places to visit,i was there last Feb.i was that I'mpressed im going to montego bay end of Feb with ocean village for 2 weeks Cruise,if i see ya ill give you a wave

Take a visit to La dera restuarant best on the island if a bit expensive the view of the pitons is amazing one of the best views in the world. Also go snorkling if posssible its amazing. The btanic gardens have hot springs where you can bathe the water has healing properties and is very good. But! anywhere on the island is fantastic I loved it and are definitely going back this year again.
