Less than half of what you plan to take in the first place.
For a weeklong cruise:
3 swimming suits;
3 shorts;
3 tops;
3 changes of underwear;
3 pairs of socks;
sandals;
toiletries, to include a bottle of hand sanitizer to carry around with you;
one nice outfit for the formal dinner or a fancy night in port;
you can and will buy stuff at the ports of call - so don't go on a cruise with a suitcase more than 2/3 full. |

I'd pack your normal things for beaches and touring cities etc. You'd also need a outfit for every formalwear night. Probably the most important is to back 2 bags. One for carry on and one for check in. The carry on obviously has to be smaller but pack what you need in case your check in is left on land and doesn't make it to the ship. So your carry on should be your emergency bag. So your beach clothes, a semi formal set, and a formal set, and all your eye and body care. |
