I really need curtains.............seriously!

But I used last year decorations (with the exception of two boxes of lights I bought in Kidsworld for $20.00 each - that was bought three months ago)

I am also cutting back on the drinks - just a few I'll be purchasing, not cases like last year. I am also focusing on buying gifts for kids first - adults we'll see, but no guarentee.

Still getting company food voucher for Ham and Turkey - but at the pre-inflation price! So I'll see how much meat I could buy with that.

Not painting this year - I guess I'll have to wipe de walls

Basically though, trying not to spend too much for just one day! Trying....................

nothing much as every yr i have to spend b.c i have a huge family, and i am the type of person that just loves to buy presents for my family, both immediate and extended, so i won't be cutting back on anything this yr, recession or not!

My husband and I limited the number of gifts and prices for each other. I re-use bows and ribbons and gift bags. Buy cheap tape. Get stocking stuffers from the Dollar Tree and pick up little every day things as gifts-at least you know they'll get used! Oh, and we aren't going to eat out this month, either. Lots of ways! Good luck!
