Cuba sucks. Cuba is under Communism. Puerto Rico is the best island in the world.
The "L" Word
Both islands are beautiful, but if you are looking it towards a tourist prospective as a U.S. citizen, it would have to be Puerto Rico. U.S. citizens are prohibited from traveling to Cuba as a leisure tourist and the island's tourism infrastructure is not as advanced as Puerto Rico's. Furthermore if you travel to Puerto Rico you won't need a passport. Travel to Cuba requires a passport, a visa from Cuban authorities, and a U.S. Treasury license (for U.S. citizens) granting you permission to to spend money in Cuba.

I have to say PR because I live here, but you have to remember that Cuba is still virgin. They don't have skyrises and massive hotels nor the flock of people. If I didn't live here, I would say Cuba hands down.

Puerto Rico is better if you want to travel there. Great foods, beautiful scenery, beaches and rainforests.
My grandfather had a farm there. He's pick us ripe grapefruit in the morning, harvest coconuts and sugar cane for us. It was GREAT!
