It really depends on your budget and what you like to do.
I think the US Virgin Islands are wonderful for a honeymoon. You have a variety of activities yet you can relax and enjoy all the water activities, swimming, snorkeling, diving, kayaking and sailing. You are a ferry ride away from the British Virgin islands.
Here are some links to research

Good Luck and congratulations) |

I live on my boat in Antigua about 7 months out of the year... it's a great place to come and there are way more activities and things to do, especially during the season, than most of the other places in the Caribbean... AND it's a whole lot SAFER than Jamaica |

My personal favorite, incredible place with tons of options: St Johns, USVI. 10 min, $10 ferry ride from St. Thomas (all that shopping) and close to the BVI’s. But why leave? St. Johns offers low pressure shopping (no harassing sales people following you around), beautiful beaches (Trunk Bay is consistently on the top 10 beaches list) and great people. A majority of the island is State Park. You pay a little more, but you get all the amenities of a “big island” without all the people, hassle and drawbacks. Our favorite island for resorts vacation without a doubt.
Now if you want something out of the way, then I would suggest two other locations. You won’t get hotels and all the “bling” typically associated with Caribbean vacations. These islands are for very low-key, relaxed vacationing. House on the beach, hangout, sandals, make your own drink, no crowds (or many people at all) vacations. AKA, what I prefer and my wife doesn’t.
Jost Van Dyke, a BVI. Tiny island, only a couple thousand residents, can rent houses on the beach. Has a couple restaurants, but you walk or bike to them. The most low-key vacation I’ve ever been on. Loved it, kids loved, was awesome. No other people around.
Andros Island, Bahamas. Eco-friendly location. Great beaches, fishing (bone fishing capital of the world), very relaxed. We’ve actually considered buying a small vacation rental there. Short ferry from Nassau, so you can still have the glitter of a tourist island.
Final bit of advice: Avoid the mega-resorts, like those you find in the Dominican Republic. Honeymoon’s aren’t for buffets, long lines, crowded beaches and screaming kids. |

Go to this link it gives the top 10 Caribbean resorts based on sales plus has video and reviews link you straight to Trip advisor. Plus they have some of the top couples only rersorts and some good deals to Caribbean depending where you are traveling from. Good site with lots of info. I like Jamaica. ABC Islands are all beautiful. Didnt care for St maarten or St.Thomas Punta Cana has pretty beaches- and even though Mexico is not the Caribbean-I didnt like it at all tried it 3 times just dont like it. Theres tons of beautiful places out there.

I would say Antigua. Probably the best hidden gem in the Caribbean. Great place, beautiful island, lovely resorts( they have a Sandals i highly recommend) and lovely people. I would suggest you go there. Google them and find some resort to stay at. |
