Get to know the locals and leave your resort each day!

Too many tourists go to the Caribbean and lie on the beach for two weeks. What a waste! People in the Caribbean are among the friendliest on the earth. They will welcome you so warmly if you smile at them - they will ignore you if you ignore them. Same as anywhere I suppose.

It is totally safe in my experience to share a drink with locals in places such as Antigua, Barbados, Cuba etc (and I'm blonde haired, blue eyed so stand out!). I am in touch with someone that I started chatting to in the street in Cuba 8 years ago - fabulous!

Do every thing that there is to do on the beaches, including, swim, snorkle, dive, ride a jet ski, parasail, go on a sail boat, fish, or just lay on the beach enjoying the sunshine and have a great rum based drink (unless you are not old enough and you have to have soft drink).

..
YOUR ? IS TOO GENERAL. AS THERE ARE A VAST NUMBER OF THINGS TO DO AND SEE, OTHER THAN JUST SHOPPING , DRINKING, AND TANNING, DEPENDING ON WHERE IN THE CARIBBEAN YOU ARE PLANNING TO VISIT. PLEASE REPHRASE THE ?

GO to the beach.
Shop.
Have a local drink specialty.
Lay Low.
Play Golf.

I would say the best thingS to do in the Caribbean would be to sample at least one native dish and/or drink, go to the beach, take pictures of the building structures/native people. Maybe talk to some natives, find out about their island so you know where NOT to go for safety reasons! Hit at least ONE club if you like to dance.

Have sex with all the 16 year girls looking to screw tourists.
