When is hurricane season in the Caribbean?
Honeymoon for 7 days starting June 28...any thoughts/suggestions
Where are you going?
They can predict a "H" days in advance and if there is one out there, you will have warning.
Do buy travel insurance :0)
Grenada got hit pretty early in 2004 but Barbados has not been hit since 1954 when Janet came calling and last year we did not even have a strong wind but you just never know these days, everything is different.

The Atlantic hurricane season is officially from 1 June to 30 November. Maximum activity is in early to mid September.
At this point, the prediction for the 2007 hurricane season is above average (so more hurricanes predicted than a typical year.) But usually June & July are pretty quiet.

June 1 to November 30 -
June 28th! that is early in the season -
so you should be ok
worst is around August and September when the
Gulf Stream is the warmest
best wishes

That's early enough in the season you shouldn't have any problems but the best bet is to buy travel insurance to cover your investment if it's an early season. I've cruise the Caribbean during Hurricane season and it's very inexpensive to get the insurance vs. having to postpone or even cancel your trip and lose your money on the deal. Mother nature is fickle!

Hurricane season in the Caribbean officially begins on June 1st and ends November 30th. This means that this is the period most likely to see Hurricane activity. However, a natural disaster can occur at any time.

Hurricane season June-November but most big storms happen in September and October. You will have plenty of warning. If you can, purchase travel insurance to protect your investment. We had to change our destination 3 years ago due to a hurricane and quite a bit of damage to our resort but we had insurance and just went someplace else not effected by the storm.
Don't worry, enjoy your honeymoon. Happy safe travels.
