When is it the worst time to travel to the caribbean?

Either when you are on medication and can't drink the local alcohol, or when you are so sun burnt that you have to stay off the beaches. As for hurricane season, if one strikes while you are there (very small odds), that's just an excuse for a hurricane party.

There is no particular worst time to travel. Hurricane season does extend from June to November, but look at how crazy our weather has been lately. The Caribbean is not as crowded in the summer months and you can usually pay about 1/3 of the cost for lodging that you would pay in the winter. The weather is also nicer in the summer months as long as there isn't a hurricane brewing. Most people travel to the Caribbean in the winter months to escape the cold so you may not want to deal with all of the "tourists"! It doesn't get cold in the winter, so it rains every day. I speak from experience, as I have traveled extensively in the Caribbean and was stationed in Puerto Rico for 3 years! Good luck and have a nice trip!

Generally August to November is Hurricane season in the Caribbean and that is why the prices are cheaper during this period, but what really are the chances of you getting caught in a Hurricane or the island you are going to, being affected? take a chance, its well worth it!

tami g
when its extremely hot up here cuz it will be hurricane season down there

Sweet P
The Hurricane season is June 1-Nov 30.The worst time to travel to the caribbean is in the late summer. That is late August to september where there is a great peak in the number of hurricanes or when most hurricane usually hits the caribbean.Any other time is perfect. In the winter it is best to make bookings to hotels, resorts, ect as early as possible.Since it is usually crowdy at these periods. Please visit the website below for more information.

P.S. There is an yearly average of 73 percent chance of an hurricane between August and september.

well spring break is the most worst time to go and from june to july cuz thats the hottest time of the year

mixedcurlyfriesz
Hurricane season which starts in the summer but it's unexpected. It dosen't always happen. So basically you'll just have to go to Jamaica and enjoy yourself and not worry about those stuff.
