The worst month to travel in the caribbean is September.
Hurricane season is June 1-Nov 30. You are taking a chance traveling during this time. But the waters of the caribbean are very warm in September. So that could be the worst month.

Aruba,Curacao and Bonaire are out of the hurricane zone.

If you decide to travel during hurricane season make sure you take out insurance to cover your expenses.

The best time to travel the caribbean is Dec-May.

Have a great trip.

Prime hurrican season is Aug - Nov, but that doesn't mean its a bad time to go to the Carribean. It just means that a hurrican has that very slight possibility of delaying, interupting or canceling your trip altogether. Buy travel insurance so you are sure to get a refund if that happens. But the weather at that time is beautiful, prices are great and the resorts are not crowded.

Peak times are winter break - mid Dec thru New Years, Spring Break, Easter and early summer. If you wnat to avoid crowds and high prices, don't go during peak times.

As far as best places to travel, it depends on what you are looking for. There is a different island for every type of vacation. Do you want quiet beaches, wild nightlife, historical sites, good fishing, places to scuba dive, a trek through the jungle, top notch dining, a great spa, etc.? Post some more info about the type of vacation you are looking for and then you'll get some help pinpointing a location.

During the hurricane season which runs from June 1 to Nov. 30, if you're scared of getting a bad vacation, but don't let that stop you from enjoying. And high peak season (like around Dec.-Apr.), but then again that's up to you.

The best places to travel: Jamaica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Barbados, Trinidad & Tobago, Aruba, Antigua & Barbuda, St. Vincent and Grenadines, St. Martin/St. Marteen, U.S. and British Virgin Islands, etc.

Have the people will tell you hurricane season but I will tell you that you will appreciate the water better in the summer. Late spring is good too and it is before hurricane season so that would fit the bill. The closer to the equator you go in the caribbean the less the temperature will come into effect so you can go to some places in the dead of winter (your winter and still enjoy the water). The bahamas is great though i love it. Trindad was nice but I much prefer The Bahamas

June to November is Hurricane Season. The chances of a hurricane or tropical storm could spoil your vacation is greater. It's up to nature.

The other months, December, January to May are perfect. After all, in the Caribbean there is one season Summer, throughout the year.

The best places to visit are the Cayman Islands and other small unspoiled islands.

So enjoy your vacation.
