Wow. Bet you didn't know you posted this in the "Politics" section did you? It's really a shame that people can't come into the travel section for Cuba, and get a decent answer anymore. Maybe being unhappy Cubans, they can't read. Maybe they don't understand this is the TRAVEL section. It's a shame really.
Anyways, to answer your question. Tell your friend to go from December through April. I've always found the weather to be nice then. |

I agree with bill w. It is immoral to go to Cuba for two reasons at least:
1 - Your money would help the comunist dictatorship that has been oppressing us for 50 years
2 - Visiting Cuba endorses the dictatorship
Nobody here ever cares about the Cuban people. Everybody seems to adore the dictator. I cannot understand why

I have reported anybody that I have ever known that has ever gone to Cuba. They all have wound up in jail or fired. |

Anytime is a great time for Sunny to go to Cuba.With all due respect to bill w. in my opinion it is neither immoral nor is it illegal for Canadians and most other nationalities to visit Cuba. Cuba is very definitely a great place to vacation. Be sure to take a day trip into Havana, a "must see." .The beaches are terrific, the scenery fantastic, there's no shortage of activities to keep you going day and night. Cubans are proud of their country; they welcome visitors with open arms and will treat you like visiting royalty. Chances are if you go once you will return again and again. Check the sites below they contain tons of information. Have a great vacation. Be sure to hang onto 25 Convertible Pesos (CUC) to pay the departure tax. |
