When last I checked on his things to do, I saw where he had pencilled in Jamaica for Monday, August 20, 2007. He will be long gone by the time you arrive on the 26th. |

It's past now, and all will be cleared before the 26th. Especially the hotels. If you go, you'll be glad you did. ;-) |

Sunday at 2pm (tomorrow). It is set to hit the south coast and do the most damage to Kingston. Montego Bay is better protected but who knows. Negril may not be in good shape. I am booked at the Iberostar Montego Bay on September 13th. I guess I will miss this one but who knows if another will be on its way by then. My sister has friends vacationing there RIGHT NOW! |

Probably. Hopefully, it won't hit Jamaica because when you go there will be damage when you go if it hits. |

Dean will more than likely effect Jamaica In a couple of days I believe. But with 145 MPH winds right now if it hits Jamaica head on, there will be damage and power outages prolly everywhere I would hold off a few months so things will get straightened out from the aftermath. |

i don't think it will hit Jamaica because everytime there's a hurricane heading for the island it always turns away. i can bet u money that Hurricane dean won't directly hit Jamaica. |

Yes I do believe Jamaica will be gone by then. Dean is going to plow right in to it at a cat 4 and then head straight for Cancun. |
