ohhh gawd, ah thought rain was d best eh, buh den jouvert and gibbsy come and just take d cake right dey. ah plane jouvert? loooooool. ah laugh till ah cry. allyuh good oui.

When all meh class mates wanted to be lawyers and doctors and dentist and thing I wanted to be a teacher. And then i went secondary school! and ah see all them hard headed, stubborn, ignorant, no manners, answering back, n**** children, and ah say not flecking me!

Cause i go hadda kill somebody chile, cause is against the law to hit d chile, and on top ah dat d parents want to come and beat d teacher. Me? i liiiiiiil ignrant, one ah dem go want to cuss me and i go make dem swallow all dey teeth and i go loose my job, so i good.

and then i decided i wanted to work in ah book store cause ah realll like books and thing eh, but me ent want to work in front, i want to work in d stock room. cause yuh know that if d store ent sell ah book by ah certain date dey supposed to strip of the cover, and distroy the book, so i woulda get plenty books to read. But that didnt work out.

den ah get ah job in d ministry, but ah still like teaching, only ah decide that i doing early chile care and owning meh own school thingie, cause if ne body feel dey bringing dey chile who ent have no behaviour and want to tell me that i cant hit he, and dat chile disruptive and thing, they have another think coming cause i going put he outta my school!

And that is why i working for the Authority - cause ah hear Golden Grove ent nice.

I wanted to be a cashier at Maraj grocery store then in high school I wanted to be a nurse. I got accepted to Nursing school but it was after I had already finished 5 years of University and I couldn't see myself going to school for another 4 years. God had a different plan for me.

When I was 5 I wanted to be a fat Chinese lady. Serious ting. Doh ask me, I have NO idea why that was so appealing to me but that is what I aspired to be. Sometimes I does real wonder about myself oui.

My true passion is writing. I hope one day to be able to make a living doing it. Nah ah lie. I don't want to have to write on a schedule. I just want to sell one book for plenty money and live the life of Riley off the royalties. True talk! LOL

It has been a while since I have been to y answers and it's great to see a good Trini lime in here. So ah decide to jump in and have some laughs too!

I was weird, I wanted to be a gas station attendant!! Loved the smell of gasoline as a little girl.

Of course by the time I became a teenager good sense prevailed and I determined that a maxi taxi tout was the thing to be!!! lol. Ah doh know, maybe is de money ah see dem handlin or something!?

My brother, of course had greater asparitions...... he wanted to be Superman!

Now don't laugh......when I was a child I wanted to be an airplane...yes....that's what I said. .....(oh the shame....).
I was and still am fascinated by aircraft. I think they are beautiful and graceful. My parents collective reaction was apoplectic to say the least.
Hear Daddy...." Lord! What ah do wrong? Other people chirren want to be doctor and lawyer, but NO! Not mine! She want to a blasted plane! Child, do you know you are HUMAN and an airplane is not????"

I wanted to be a teacher.....but that didn't work out. My kids are my priority right now so I'm a stay at home Mom.

As a kid,I always wanted to be a school principal, you know having my own school and stuff, I use to play school all the time, and as I got older wanted to have my own business as my mom operated her own business and i wanted to be like her.
I did pursue a career in education. I do have my Phd in early childhood education , but then I found my true calling, AND BECAUSE OF MY LOVE FOR COOKING, I eventually did all the nice schooling stuff and become one of the best Chef that I can be.
I have my own business, so I guess I'm living out one of childhood dreams.

I wanted to be a ballerina when I grew up. A few years later, I wanted to be an artist (10 years old). As a teenager, I wanted to be a reporter, because I wanted to be on tv. Five years has passed and now I am pursing to become a Social Worker.

I wanted to become a Teahcer, Marine Biologist, Nurse and Policewoman - I am just a Clerk 1 working in an organization geared to make Trinbago youths more employable. Its nice though with the interaction that I have with the students - yuh goh tink all dem youths nowadays bad, but the ones who are mischievous - really has a lot of issues and do not know how to handle them - and their family is usually oblivious to it

I wanted to be an architect. Then when i was in HS the teacher say he aint want no black gurls in he technical drawing class. Then my mother instilled it in my head that i was going to be a lawyer. I went to college and started doing criminal justice to do law after and i just didnt like it so i switched my major to math and now im back on the track of being an architect again.

When I was 5, i wanted to be a pilot. When I was 16, I wanted to be a doctor because I wanted to help people. Now I am a doctor!! Funny huh.

well i wanted to be everything. i think i wanted to be a model,all yuh had to do was pose and yuh cud go home with designer clothes.
i wanted to be a teacher just to boof ppl chirren and ting but i soon realised i dont really like lil chirren.i doh mind working with teenagers tho.

in form 3 i wanted to b a chef in my own restaurant so i took food and nutrition but yuh ***** take f&n and accts same time.
then when i was in form 4 i trained to be a peer counsellor so i decided to become a psychologist so i studied that at university and i'm still gearing towards that one.
