Click on Sandals website. They have won--Best Wedding Hotel awards many times. You will see which destination has those distinctions: they have properties in St. Lucia, Antigua and Jamaica. My choice is Hawksbill Beach hotel--Antigua with its five beaches--one you snorkel right off the beach. Then again, if money is no object, try the new 7-star hotel in Dubai or the Jumby Bay Resort. Click their websites.

Try Le Sport in St Lucia as you'll get totally pampered there with luxury spa treatments included in the price, water sports & all drinks & meals included with their Tao Restaurant being voted one of the islands bests! It's truly lovely & called 'the body holiday'! Have a look at the website: http://www.thebodyholiday.com/Content/ContentCT.asp?P=92

The Cook Island of Roratonga is my very first thought.
It is perfect! The weather, the All Inclusive hotel locations on white sand beaches with perfect brillient sunsets and the local people. I loved them all and not a beach vendor to be seen!
A natural reef almost surrounds turquoise waters in a perfectly safe lagoon for snorkeling and swimming. the only entrance into the Island is at the fishing port located at the only town on the Island. The Town, like the rest of the Island, is small and quaint and unspoiled by westerners. No cruise ships stop there so far because the people refused to open their weekly Saturday market on a Sunday.
There are things to do and see and most visitors, like the locals, use motorcycles to get around. Otherwise there is a bus service that a person can wave down at any point along the one road round around the island.
Roratonga is an Island for lovers of all ages. No crime because they have only their own TV station and one New Zealand stations so the young people are like the adults; happy and friendly.
Cheers! and all the best for your future.
Oh! I wanna go, I wanna go again! |

Although it doesn't have the actual "sun & beach", it does have a private pool --- my vote would be to check out a stay at Sybaris. We have stayed twice in the Chalet Suite. It is an amazing place to spend time. The web site below will give you more information - but this suite has an upstairs bedroom that has a slide that goes into the private 22 ft. swimming pool with a cascading waterfall and whirlpool jets, a suana, fireplace, whirlpool tub - talk about romantic and private! A wonderful place to go.
It is rather costly - if nothing else, you might want to consider a day or two here prior to seeking the sun & sand of the beaches! |
