Somebody says here that if you go to Cuba you will learn everything.
Is not so. We are extremely cautious about talking with foreigners about political matters. People are very afraid in Cuba.
In every block we have a CDR, that watches, observes, and reports any suspicious activity.
Whenever I returned home late , I saw the guy in charge of surveillance, standing between two trees, watching
You ask cubans about fidel, the gocvernment, and they will give you the official answer: "yes, yes. We love fidel and the Revolution" ( I have no idea if this guy works for the State Security and wants to see what I say. I will say the official just in case )

Come to Miami, la calle ocho
What facts do you need ? We can tell you. You can hear the testimonies of many people who had to escape, and they will tell you why
Here we can talk. In Cuba we can't |

What for ? Practically nobody knows the cuban facts first hand, and some people that say they had been there , have a very twisted idea of the facts.
Come to miami and talk with the cubans |

cuba is an island in the Caribbean sea, with a comunist government that has tortured and killed many cubans. For 50 years the ruler, fidel castro has dominated the country with an iron fist, killing or putting in jail all those who tried to oppose him, forcing many people to escape from the country

In Miami, la calle ocho. You will find way tooooooooo many links there
What links do you mean ? On the web ?
There are ( incredible ) many comunist agents that constantly release their poison to whoever wants to hear
You don't know whether the site tells the truth or not |

The best links are in the Cuban community of exiles in Miami. Those are the best
Hum, learning everything about Cuba by going there.
Don't think so. I have seen many people that say have been in Cuba, but it seems that they only saw and heard what they wanted to see and hear . To make things more interesting, they say: "I know that. I have been in Cuba"
You can be in the moon, and say it is a splendid place to grow corn, but that is not the point. Things depend on your perspective to observe |

But if you can go to Cuba, you'll learn everything by being there :-)
Others mentioned being in Hialeah and Miami...they're right...it's little Cuba there.
*edit: just so no misunderstands...yes, everyone is cautious in Cuba...but when I say you will learn a lot about Cuba by being there, I mean that you will learn by seeing with your own eyes and being immersed in the culture. |
