Go to Curacao. Sea Aquarium has plenty of fun stuff like Dolphin swim, encounter with sea lions, flamingoes and other marine life in small and latge penns. The ostrich farm offers a great chance to see and interact with ostriches, not to mention a chance to learn about them. Hato caves, plenty of beaches to choose from, Kura Hulanda Museum, Curacao Maritim Museum and of course Parke Shete Boka.

Kids that age (I have a 4 yr old) love playing in the sand and sea and pools. Most island spots have that and usually the hotels have games and organized activities for children. For the price, the Dominican Republic is a good choice. I've been to the east (Punta Cana) and the north (Sosua) and I prefer the north. There are international airports at both locations. If you fly into Santo Domingo instead, you can get an air conditioned bus to the north for a very reasonable price (when we went in '04 it was US$5 per person - 4 hour trip).
If you don't want to have to deal with a non-English language, try Antigua...beautiful beaches and friendly people. |

May I suggest Barbados, an island in the eastern Carribean with beautiful weather, friendly people, great food.. Gotta add, the sightseeings are enjoyable, too. |

Try the Disney Cruise...you'll get a little bit of land and sea on your vacation with tons for the kids to do and you too.
Check out iBtraveling.com to compare cruise deals or even just land vacations. All inclusives are nice so the kids can have drinks or food whenever they want. Sorta like on a cruise.
