Hi it depends on what you want.
If you want a beautiful and natural surrounding i would suggest the smaller islands like grenada, dominica. I particularly like dominica because i lived there for a year. there are rainforest beaches springs and loaaads of rivers. this is the commonwealth of dominica not the dominican republic. The only bad thing about dominica is that it can sometimes be very quiet. BUT if you have a british passport it's simple to take a ferry to Tortola and party. But remember wherever you go... if you dont like that island you can take a ferry or a small flight for a relatively small price. and people are friendly wherever you go |

If your name is Alix you have 2 weeks in Montigo Bay Jamaica........wonderful.
There are some lovely islands, it depends how old you are and what you are looking for.
My favourite is St Lucia everything from lovely beaches and rainforest for exploring.
Go to your nearest independant travel agent and tell them what you are looking for on a holiday and they will offer you the best islands for your requirements, whether you want to lazy by the beach or do activities |

We met many Brits in Barbados and Cancun Mexico. But I suspect they travel to all the islands in the Caribbean.
Many european countries also travel to Dominican Republic. I think they like the idea of all-inclusive resorts where food, liquor and gratuities are included.
Good Luck and enjoy) |

You know I saw a lot of British tourists in Aruba. They usually stay at the low rise hotels, like the Divi, the Bucuti or the Tamarijn. I even met Australian tourists there. |

Main places would be Domincan Republic, Cuba, Jamaica, Mexico and Barbados. Obviously they go all over but these are probably the most popular. |
|

Highly Favoured
 |
Barbados since it is known as the 'Little England'. They also have lots of streets that are connected to England as well like 'King Edwards Road',' Buckingham Road', 'Queen Mary Road' and 'King Edwards Road'. Additionally, Lord Nelson statue is even older than the one in England. The exchange rate is great which is about 4 to 1 so they will get more for the pound. |
